Privacy Policy

Heart Health- Fit — consumer app. Counsel review recommended before relying on this text.

This Privacy Policy describes how Heart Health- Fit (“we,” “us”) handles information when you use the mobile application (“App”). Read it together with our Terms of Use.

1. Overview

The App is designed for fitness and wellness. We do not use your information to provide medical diagnosis or treatment. Outputs such as pace, heart-rate estimates, and scores are fitness estimates, not medical records.

2. Information stored on your device

Much of the App’s data stays on your device, including workout sessions and history (where applicable), run preferences, manual profile fields you enter (such as age, sex, height, and weight), composite scores, and settings. This local storage may use Apple frameworks such as UserDefaults and Core Data on your iPhone.

3. Apple Health

If you choose to connect Apple Health, the App may read types you authorize (for example, height, weight, heart rate, or blood pressure for display on your profile) and may write workouts when you enable saving workouts. Apple’s own privacy rules and your Health permissions apply. You can change or revoke access in the Health app and in Settings on your device. Health data is not used for advertising and is not sold.

4. How we use information

We use on-device and, if you grant it, Health data to power features you see: sessions, stats, profile display, and fitness estimates (including age- and sex-based modeling where applicable). Height and weight are not used as performance scores; BMI is not used for performance. We do not sell your personal information.

5. Authentication, usage, and cloud sync (non-health)

Separately from Apple Health, we may process information needed to run optional features: for example, account identifiers if you sign in (such as Sign in with Apple), tokens or keys that keep you signed in, device or app-instance identifiers used for security, and operational logs (such as crashes or errors) to improve stability. We may collect limited usage information about how you use the App (for example, which screens you open) for product improvement. These categories do not include raw Apple Health samples unless you have explicitly granted Health access for features that use them, as described above.

6. iCloud, shared storage, and other apps

If you enable cloud sync, non-health data you choose to sync (such as settings, preferences, or aggregated app state) may be stored in Apple’s iCloud or similar services and may be available to other applications we publish that you install under the same Apple ID or account, when those features are offered and you use them. This helps you see consistency across apps without sending Apple Health data through our own servers beyond what Apple’s system already provides. You can often disable iCloud for the App in system Settings; doing so may limit sync.

7. Notifications

If you allow notifications, Apple’s push/local notification services may process minimal data needed to deliver alerts. You can turn notifications off in system Settings.

8. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the age required by your region). Do not use the App if you are not old enough to consent where you live.

9. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be described in the App or by other reasonable means. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised policy.

10. Contact

Questions: use the contact information in the App Store listing or in-app when available.
